Wood measurements

One board foot measure is equivalent to a piece of wood 1” thick, by 12” wide by 12” long.  If you would like to calculate de footage of a piece, here is the formula to use : (Thickness XWidth X Length) divided by 12

1000 BFT = 2.36 M3       1M3  = 423.775 BFT

1 lbs = 0.45kg             1kg = 2.2 lbs

1mm = 0.04 ”             1″ = 25.4mm
